Wizards' Kingdom...
'My dad is a writer, but I don't read his books. I read Wizards' Kingdom and couldn't stop reading it and I thought it was great. It has loads of adventure and loads of fighting and I thought it was brilliant!'
Ryan Ellory, son of R J. Ellory (Author of 'A Quiet Belief in Angel's' and 'A Simple Act of Violence.' Published by Orion.)

'Wizards' Kingdom' is a story which begs to be read by the crackle and comfort of firelight.  Fans of J RR Tolkien will feel instantly at home in rolling valleys, deep mines and amongst the legendary creatures.  Colin R. Wizards' Kingdom
I loved your book, it was super - appealing to 9 - 12 year age bracket in particular, but... to anyone who enjoys this genre.  The storyline was strong and original with tiny aspects of: 'The Hobbit'/'Lord of the Rings' - Gollum/Loof; - 'Kites & Seekers', 'Sleeping Beauty - spell cast on population.

Character and setting description are vivid, providing clear visuals for the reader.  Pace is fast and relentless right up to the final page - 'Two hour rollercoaster adventure', filled with surprises, action, friendship, magic, edge of your seat excitement with a hint of fear and sadness thrown in.
Wizards' Kingdom... 'The Obelisk of Ashmar'
Thoroughly enjoyed your new book.
Just enough background information and recap of the first story to remind the reader of the original plot or for a new reader to see what has previously transpired.  It is a 'Stand alone plot' and reading the first story is not a prerequisite.
Every chapter has a strong, individual, original storyline.  Excellent descriptive language - poetic, evocative mastery, filled with suspense and adventure.  Great titles for every chapter... Very exciting climax.
This series is a real winner -  Alison Hall teacher at Williamstown Primary School
